Volunteer Application

Community of Care has many dedicated transportation volunteers.  We are always looking for more volunteers to assist with the growing requests for our services.  We have seasons of volunteers - snowbirds are gone, farmers are planting or harvesting, people are at the lake and others don't drive in the wintertime.  Would YOU consider volunteering to be a part of our transportation team so an older adult might attend their medical appointment?

Volunteers provide transportation according to their schedules.  Some volunteers drive 2 or 3 times a month and others drive 2 or 3 times a year.  We provide gas cards to help defray your transportation costs.

Volunteers are also needed to provide support for area residents in other ways:

  • Yard Work
  • Minor Home Repair
  • Assistance with errands
  • Health Cabinet
  • Bone Builder class leader
  • Blood Pressure screenings
  • Music and Memory Program
  • Serve on a fundraising committee
  • Assist with mailings, etc.
