Myrna E. Hanson - Executive Director

Myrna grew up on a farm outside Grand Forks and graduated from Thompson High School. She has a BA in Music & Math Education from Concordia College and a MA in Educational Leadership from NDSU. Prior to joining Community of Care in May 2011, Myrna taught 5th – 12th grade Band and served as an Associate in Ministry of the ELCA, doing Youth and Christian Education Ministry. She is responsible for governance, development, staff supervision and marketing at C of C. Myrna feels fortunate to serve the residents of rural Cass County, and frequently relies on her experience as an adult child of an aging parent having cared for her mom for many years. She works full-time, sharing her time between offices.
Lauren Prante, Care Coordinator

Lauren grew up in Casselton and is a graduate of Central Cass High School. She has a BA in Social Work and Minors in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Presentation College in SD and a Masters of Social Work from the University of North Dakota. Prior to joining Community of Care in October 2017, Lauren worked with individuals with cognitive disabilities as an agencies Director of Services. Lauren and husband have two children and live in Casselton. She splits her time between the Casselton and Arthur office helping individuals with assistance paperwork, Medicare Part D, Medicare enrollment, and referrals. Lauren is in the Arthur office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and in the Casselton office on Wednesday and Friday.
Gwen Fraase, RN, BSN - Northern Cass Faith Community Nurse

Gwen grew up in Moorhead, MN. She has nursing degrees from NDSU and Presentation College in SD. She has worked in numerous and diverse nursing settings including; Clinical, Hospital, Mental Health, Home Health, Public Health and Migrant Health. She continues as a Faith Community Nurse in the Buffalo, Tower City area. She is married, has three grown sons and lives by Buffalo, ND. She serves as the Faith Community Nurse for Community of Care. She joined our staff in April 2016 and works on Wednesdays and Thursdays in our Arthur office.
Cindi Godbout, RN - Casselton Faith Community Nurse

Cindi grew up in the Twin Cities. She graduated from St. Mary's College in St. Paul. Cindi is a licensed RN with a variety of nursing experience, primarily geriatrics. Cindi and her husband live in Casselton. She serves as a Faith Community Nurse in Casselton and provides assessments, education and referrals. Cindi works in the Casselton office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Charley Rose - Kindred area Faith Community Nurse

Tammy Shempp Volunteer Coordinator

Tammy grew up in Devils Lake and now lives in Chaffee. Tammy attended UND-Lake Region. She recently took early retirement from Cass County Social Services. Tammy spent 27 years there as the Financial Assistance Case Manager. She is the person to contact for a ride to medical appointments or to volunteer. Tammy works in the Casselton office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
