Information, encouragement, and connection can make a meaningful difference as older adults and families navigate changing needs. Community of Care offers free health education, wellness opportunities, and community outreach that help rural Cass County residents stay informed, connected, and supported.
Health & Wellness Education
Community of Care’s Faith Community Nurses provide health education for individuals, groups, and communities. Their role is to assess, educate, and refer- helping people better understand health concerns, provider instructions, medications, and the resources available to them.
Education is offered through individual support, community programs, wellness events, health screenings, bulletin inserts, and presentations.

Classes & Wellness Opportunities
Community of Care offers free opportunities that help older adults stay active, build confidence, and connect with others. Bone Builder classes provide low-impact exercise, strength and balance work, and social connection in communities throughout rural Cass County.

Health Cabinets & Community Partnerships
Community Health Cabinets bring together local residents, volunteers, organizations, and healthcare partners to identify local needs and plan meaningful health and wellness opportunities. These partnerships help ensure that programs reflect the strengths and needs of each rural community.
Community Events & Presentations
Community of Care partners with local organizations to offer educational events, including coordinating Casselton Business Association Senior Day held each fall, wellness fairs, and health screening opportunities. Staff and board members are also available to share information about Community of Care’s programs and services with local groups and organizations.
