Covid-19 Information from Faith Community Nurse

STAY HOME—STAY SAFE

Practice some of the UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS (it’s a medical term) in other words, treat yourself like you and all others have Covid-19.

  • Keep your 6-foot distance. Social Distancing.
  • Cover your mouth and nose when around others. Covering is meant to protect other people. Remember, Universal Precautions. If you have a child under two, anyone who has trouble breathing or is unconscious, or unable to remove their own mask should not wear a mask.
  • Save the medical masks for the healthcare workers. When you use your homemade mask, as soon as you get home, launder it immediately then wash your hands after touching it.
  • Keep your hands away from your face to decrease exposure.
  • Wash your hands OFTEN for at least 20 seconds with soap. If you cannot wash your hands use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Keep frequently touched areas disinfected.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask someone to pick up supplies for you or call our office 347-0032. (CDC.gov)
